This is how I do the
reviews.
I am looking
to do webcomics that have some combination of being online for 6
months and/or have about 30-40 webcomics in their archive.
I tend to
shy away from webcomics that are well established and/or have vast
archives... as it's harder to cram the right stuff into a minute
long netcast. I skip over completed comics and comics that are on
hiatus.
If a comic
has had some connection with the PSI
webcomic or the Ardra
webcomic, or are apart of the Xepher.net
community, I
will tend to play favorites. Why? Because I can.
I Do Not
Play Favorites within the reviews!
If I like
you or do not like you, If your comic is tied to a community or
something in addition to the comic, that does not matter!
I review
comics for the comic itself! No outside influences!
I do not
review webcomics in the order that I receive requests, nor do I go
in the order of which I have book marked them for review, either. Depending on
the size of the archive, if I like it right away, if I have just
read the whole archive recently, if I am more familiar with one than
another, if I have time constraints... will all affect my decision
of which webcomic I'll be reviewing. Reviews are not done in any
particular order.
Webcomics in
the Review Piggy Bank that have stopped updating for a long time
will be skipped in favor of a webcomic that is still updating.
I also do not intend to review any webcomics that have already
finished or seem to be on indefinite hiatus. At least at this point.
I'm trying
to have two reviews up each week. I'm looking at Tuesdays and
Thursdays.
I will tend
NOT to review comics that I do not like, and I WILL NOT review
comics that I hate! (why give them exposure? The best way to not
promote a comic is to not talk about it).
DO NOT
SUBMIT YOUR WEBCOMIC, unless you understand that I may never review
it. You can also ask me, and I will honestly answer you if I will
not review the comic. You can always re-submit a comic later if you
feel you have improved or whatever. I'm not saying you have to prove
anything to me. Make changes and such to your stuff for yourself and
your fans, not for the critics.
Currently
NOT looking for more submissions!
I need to reorganize my list!
