I had not been here since 2006. I didn’t even go on all of the trails on this visit, as I only had time for a day visit. It’s only an hour away, but it’s a nice walk through the woods. Nothing super spectacular about Nerstrand, but it’s still nice. It probably would have been nicer in early summer or early fall.

The THIRD time in 3 years that I have been there. Seems to be a tradition…. Actually… It might have been the 4th time in 3 years… I think I went twice one summer and took my brother. Last year was with Diana Nock. This year it was with Melissa Kaercher!
You might be able to see several similar locations, as well as some changes. For instance, there was a flood two years ago, and I snapped a great shot of this tree gracefully arcing over a creek. This year, it’s partly dead, and snapped in several places. On top of differences, there is new content, as I went on a trail I did not go on, nor photograph before.
There were also a few vintage cars that drove by the road to the park, so I managed to snag about half of them with my camera. Melissa also took a ton of photos during the trip as well. I’ll post a link as soon as she posts them.
