2006 Camping Trip
A long camping trip I took in the late summer of 2006, to several different Minnesota State Parks. Images taken with a RAZR cell phone. I have photos from a real camera as well… somewhere…

A general nerd and geek convention in Madison, WI. This was the convention’s first year. Pretty fun. These are mostly cosplay pictures.

2008 Whitewater State Park
I went to this Minnesota State Park with my friend Diana Nock of Jinxville.com. I actually landed wrong on my left ankle and bruised about 30% of my foot. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of this.

2009 Interstate Park (Minnesota)
This is a combination of two different trips with two different friends of mine. This is in Taylors Falls, MN. Across the river is Wisconsin’s own version of Interstate Park…. It’s like a double park, but I didn’t go over there.

2009 Taylors Falls (Minnesota)
Also combined from two separate trips. Just a few pictures here. They have a Car-Hop with a mini-golf course! The Pizza and Malt Shop was awesome too.

2009 Franconia Sculpture Park
Again, combined from two different trips. This is close to, and on the way to, Taylor’s Falls. This is a HUGE sculpture park that changes periodically.

2009 Whitewater State Park
I went to this Minnesota State Park with my friend Chebutykin of Tin Lizard Productions. This is the 3rd time in a 3 years I’ve come to this park. If you look at the older ones you can see some differences. I also went on a new trail this time.

2009 Nerstrand Big Woods State Park
Revisted this park (from my 2006 trip) with a friend. Nothing really spectacular. Just a sorta nice walk through the woods. The mini waterfall was all but dried up, so that was sad.

2009 Saint Cloud Mississippi
I was trying to use the manual settings on my camera to counter the sun being in precisely the wrong spot for most of these pictures. I’ve had to mess with the colors afterward too. Some of these are really good though. The rest seem OK.

2010 Wild River State Park
With my new Canon Rebel XSi, with a 35-128mm, macro capable lens, I took a bunch of pictures as Minnesota’s Wild River State Park. There are a few shots with a 70-300mm zoom/macro lens, but I found the other to work much better for the range I was in. Still learning aperture and f-stop settings.
